3H Fund offers subsidised group holidays with volunteer helpers for physically disabled children and adults.

Accessible Boating

Accessible Boating provides holiday boats adapted for people with disabilities with hydraulic lifts for wheelchairs and hoists. Boats are available at Fleet and Odiham on the Basingstoke Canal.

The Lake District Calvert Trust

The Calvert Trust enables people with disabilities, together with their families and friends, to achieve their potential through the challenge of outdoor adventure in the countryside. We aim to do this by providing:

• a wide range of adventurous outdoor activities, meaningful challenge and adventure within a
• framework of safety
• skilled, qualified and caring staff able to fulfil the needs of visitors
• accommodation appropriate to the needs of the visitors
• facilities for families and friends to share the enjoyment and experience

The benefits and enjoyment of the activities will be offered to all, irrespective of ability.

The Jumbulance Trust

The Jumbulance Trust is a small, national charity which “Makes Travel Possible” for disabled and other disadvantaged individuals with life-limiting conditions enabling them to take part in disabled coach holidays or pilgrimages across the UK and Europe.

The Trust provides the vehicles and drivers at subsidised rates to regional groups, schools, disabled community groups, care homes and hospices around the UK and Ireland.

The groups who organise the holidays and pilgrimages are made up of volunteer carers and where possible nurses and doctors offer medical assistance.

The Jubilee Sailing Trust

The Jubilee Sailing Trust offers sailing holidays and experiences where disabled and able-bodied people work together.

Canalability

Canalability provides the facilities for people with disabilities and special needs to enjoy boating on the river on our specially adapted canal boats. You can hire our boats for a day trip, short break or longer holiday so that you are able to enjoy the relaxing tranquillity of cruising along the river.

Bond Hotel is a disability friendly hotel in Blackpool with the option to purchase CQC-registered care.

The RNIB can advise on suitable holidays, hotels and ‘activity weeks’; for example, organised rambling or cultural holidays.
