How the council support self-funders

We can also support you with the following -

Care Confidence

Care confidence is an online care planning tool that is designed to help you feel better prepared to make decisions about paying for social care.

It can help you to learn about the different types of help and support available and what it can cost.

Please note - Care Confidence is still in development. To help improve the tool for future users, please take the survey located at the bottom of the Care Confidence website. If you are happy to chat to someone about your experience of using the tool, please email alannah.friend@york.ac.uk. You will receive a £10 shopping voucher as a thank you for taking part in an interview.
